There are a lot of great things at our church, but underneath it all are these 3 core foundations that are all about loving as Jesus did.

God wants us to love Him with our entire being. To love God with all our heart, soul, and mind is the foundation of loving God deeply. To love God is to remain completely dedicated to Him, His Word, and His ways. We are called to love God deeply with an all-consuming relational pursuit.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-39 ESV)

We do not carry the complete capacity to love our fellow man without the deep love of God flowing in and through us. We are committed to loving God and being filled with Him so that we have the capacity to love our fellow man in a real and genuine way. Loving our fellow man will come with a cost that we are willing to pay at Cornerstone Church.

“And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39 ESV)

The primary task of all believers is to make disciples of all people who will in turn make disciples. At Cornerstone Church, we have adopted this simple multiplications process. As Christ followers, we want our lives to count for Jesus and His kingdom so we work hard to make disciples of all people with undying passion.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV)
