• Arnie guin

    lead pastor

As a native Coloradian, Arnie loves the outdoors, hiking, and skiing down actual mountains. As a fitness enthusiast, you can find him at the gym early in the morning working on his earthly temple. On a perfect Buffalo Saturday morning you can find him sitting by the fireplace, watching it snow, reading a good book and drinking hot tea while listening to acoustic guitar. The urban-grunge influence from his days in Seattle is tempered by his eclectic music preferences, which now include everything from country to classical and beyond.

He has given his life to the building of Christ’s church, existing as a leader to empower others to be all they can be for Christ and His kingdom. Arnie has a huge heart for people, making it a point to daily live out the important truth that the gospel is for all people.

He has a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. They enjoy family vacations, day hikes, making music together and rebuilding really old houses.

You can contact him via e-mail at arnie@cornerstonechurch.life.

    interm worship AND arts director

Eight years ago, at the biggest crossroad in my life, I stood in the face of Jesus with my heavy, over-packed bags of luggage. Jesus looked me in the eye and said . . . "choose me, Keri." Instantly, I felt this unexplainable love and dropped my baggage. I chose Him. The most intimate moment I have ever and will ever experience.

This is the love I have always longed for. Jesus picked me up, cleaned me off, renewed my mind and re-wired my desires. He has put a new song in my mouth. His love is better than life. That is why my lips will forever praise Him. . .and only Him.

Worship to me is a lifestyle. Worship is not limited to just singing. True worship is a matter of the heart. When you encounter the kindness of the Father and get to know His character is when you can't help but truly worship Him.

My goal is to help you uncover areas in your life that are holding you back from experiencing this intimacy with christ.

Coming before God just as you are - imperfections and all. Ivining Him into these hidden places of your heart, so He can get at the roots.

  • Matthew pfeil

    Missional Discipleship pastor

After being an elementary PE teacher in Las Vegas for over a decade, Matt has returned to his hometown to help make disciples and drink Tim Horton's coffee. It was in Las Vegas where Matt met his wife Amy, came to faith in Christ, had 3 kids (Madelyn, Elizabeth, and Andrew), went to Seminary, and perfected his guacamole recipe.

He is excited to walk alongside people, helping them to grow in their intimacy with Christ. His life verse is 1 Peter 315; ask him about it - he'd love to tell you why!

Matt and Amy love spending time with their kids, which usually includes playing hide-and-seek, hot-and-cold, and trying to find the remote control after their youngest child hides it.

Vinh Nguyen moved to Western New York in August of 2017. He moved to the area from Southern Illinois (about 15 minutes from St. Louis, MO so he’s naturally a Cardinals fan).
